Now..im sure Goldie Malone's murder was one of the worst things to hit Fremont, NE. It rocked the very foundation of the Midwest. It's the story of 23 year old Goldie Malone...who was found dead in her car in the middle of no where in the country. She was a loved member of the community, a school teacher in her 1st year of teaching, No arrests were ever made and the case went cold...this was 8 years ago.. My name is Val Toby and you are listening to Murder: The Goldie Malone Mystery. This season I am goin to go to Fremont NE and investigate what happened to Goldie and why it was never solved. and your going to come with me on this journey.e a lot of people have the question.. why this case interests me or why i would get involved.. And quiet frankly....i don't know... do i need a reason to want justice for Goldie Malone?

It already seems like the police have given up....and the town has forgotten her and moved on.

I'm going to reach out to her family and see if they are willing to speak to me. The lack of evidence in this case astounds me... they never spoke to any potential suspects.. friends.. job.. nothing.. or at least if they did no one is talking about it.

I was doing some research on this case and i wasn't shocked to find Goldie had no criminal record.. not even a speeding ticket.

She was working at the Local diner in town called Ralphie's for a few years. Ill be sure to check in with her former boss and see how she was like. someone wanted Goldie Malone dead.. and I'm going to figure out why.
